Shanghai 2001
US-China Business Corporation & Promotion Conference
Shanghai GuangDa Int’l Conference Center, Shanghai, China

A Message from UCIEAA President

Dear Executive:

As China’s entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) becomes imminent, it is the right time for your company to begin seriously exploring Chinese markets, which until now are only accessible to some large companies and high-risk takers. This significant event, together with the development of E-commerce, is blurring the dividing line between local/domestic market and int’l market. No matter what is the size, all the companies have to re-look at their business from global perspective, and re-position themselves in this very dynamic and quickly integrated new market environment, even simply for survival.

US-China International Exchange Advancement Association (UCIEAA) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Edison, New Jersey. Our goal is to help companies in the US and China to find business opportunities in the two markets and to promote cooperation between the two business communities. Over the past two years, we have developed a large membership base of over 2,500 Chinese companies across all industries and geographical regions in China. We conducted seminars in China to expose their corporate executives to US business environment and practices, and invited more than a dozen of groups of corporate executives to visit US and meet their US counterparts. We believe now it is the time that we should help US firms to become acquainted with Chinese business environment, prepare to enter into or expand in the Chinese markets, and set up business relationship with Chinese partners.

Together with New Jersey State Commerce & Economic Growth Commission and official Chinese Commission for Promoting Int’l Trade (CCPIT), UCIEAA will co-host "Shanghai 2001: US-China Business Cooperation & Promotion Conference" in Shanghai, China on July 18 and 19, 2001 (see the enclosed conference information for details). I cordially invite you and your colleagues to attend this conference. In this event, you will be able to personally investigate business opportunities existed there, meet potential business partners and learn first hand how to do business in China. You will have opportunities to promote your company, your products and your services. Your presence in the event will gain you instant nationwide publicity in China, as all major local and national media will cover the event. Moreover, we have received extraordinary support from many Chinese businesses and government agencies. Their generous financial contribution makes this event much affordable so many more medium and small sized US companies can participate in this major US-China business promotion in 2001. We are expecting 800 to 1000 Chinese companies to attend and there will be many professional service firms and government agencies ready to help you to satisfy your needs.

The registration to the event has already begun. Please fax or mail or e-mail the attached registration form back to us. Our fax number is 732-494-5802. Our address is: 1 World Trade Center, Suite 2201, New York, NY 10048. Our e-mail address is ucieaa@cs.com. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 732-494-2724.
