Trade Organization (WTO) has brought about
enormous growth potentials, as well as a host of great challenges. It is in direct need of talent, capital, new
concepts, and business development. Silicon
Valley, as the technology center of the world, has as much to offer as to gain from
China's vast market.
To better bridge China and Silicon
Valley, facilitate learning from Silicon Valley experience, attract technical talents,
encourage business and technology exchange, promote investment opportunities, and provide
opportunities to US Corporations for partnership, North America Chinese Semiconductor
Association (NACSA) and International
Communication Association (ICA) will proudly host a special event this
fall:
2002 China Meets Silicon Valley Expo
Place: Santa Clara, CA, USA
Time: November 8-10, 2002.
This event presents a great non-stop
shopping opportunity to the corporations and organizations in both China and US in seeking
potential business partnership, corporation, and exploration. We anticipate nearly 100 corporations and
institutions from China to attend the Expo and thousands of visitors from high tech
communities in Silicon Valley.
The Expo Committee would like to
solicit your participation in the following 3 areas:
1.
Your Proposal and Project for Expo
One of the agenda of the Expo is to
provide a private channel between China-US business partners to build relationships and
explore opportunities. We urge the local
entrepreneurs and business friends in US to submit your proposals and projects to the Expo
committee. We will help you to obtain early
exposures and arrange private meetings with appropriate companies and institutions from
China during the Expo. There is no any other
way to get better and more efficient exposure to numerous potential opportunities in both
China and the U.S.
Any business idea and plan are welcome. We will publish the project selection
procedure, criteria, and the registration form shortly.

You are welcome and strongly encouraged
to initiate your own contacts and introduce this Expo to your connections in China or US. Please spread the word and bring people in! The Expo Committee will assign you as the
representative in charge of the account you bring in, once it抯 qualified for event
admission.

Volunteers for Expo.
In anticipation of vast attendance from
both China and Silicon Valley, enormous organizational work must be done before and during
the Expo. The Expo Committee consists of several working groups responsible for marketing,
finance, public relation, exhibition, and reception.
Numerous volunteers are desperately needed for each and every working group. Each and every hand counts, and counts
enormously!! We will all be proud of your
