The delegation, a team of 40 government and enterprise decision-makers, is led by the Honorable Qiansheng Pi, Senior Advisor of Tianjin City and Mr. Jun Zhang, vice chairman of the Administrative Commission of TEDA. Their mission is to offer Silicon Valley companies and entrepreneurs a chance to learn first hand about Tianjin and TEDA as well as the incredible commercial opportunities and investment incentives.

Tianjin, known as the Bright Diamond of the Bohai Gulf and the gateway to the Capital of china, is one of the largest and most successful business and industrial port cities in China. TEDA is the home of over 3,000 foreign-invested companies with total investments exceeding US$16 billion. Motorola, Nestle, SEW and Novo Nordisk represent the four key pillar industries of the area: telecommunications, food processing, machinery and bio-pharmaceuticals.
